We are offering a range of crafts from some of our favourite crafts people in 2025. Choose from the range below, or if you love to craft, you may want to consider our Christmas Craft Retreat.
Afternoon Tea
When you have finished your craft for the day, our delicious traditional afternoon tea will be served. Please let us know when booking of any dietary requirements. We can cater to almost all dietary requirements, and will let you know if we cannot meet your needs.

Lino Printing with Sian Burns Art
Sian from Sian Burns Art is an art teacher who has graduated in an MA in Arts Health and Wellbeing. Sian will be taking you through lino printing, a technique where you will carve your unique printing block to produce a beautiful print of bees, butterflies or beetles.

Mother’s Day with Wye Valley Flowers
Join Jo from Wye Valley Flowers to create a bouquet for Mother’s Day. Or bring your mum and make a day of it. Enjoy learning a new skill in a relaxed atmosphere, as we celebrate the start of spring and this special day.

Beach Scene with Black Cat Glass Design
Join Becci from Black Cat Glass Design to make a wonderful beach scene in glass. Becci will take the finished scene to fire in her studio and they will be available to collect from the hotel 7 days after the workshop or can be posted for an additional £10 charge. (If you have booked a room with us to do this workshop, we will cover postage.)

Textile Landscapes with Sew Forest of Dean
Come along for a fun session with Jen from Sew Forest of Dean who will guide you through making your own textile landscape picture. Suitable for all abilities, including beginners, Jen will provide everything you need including the frame to mount your beautiful artwork. Sewing machines and all fabrics will be provided too, so a wonderful opportunity to just come along and play!

Collagraph Treescape Printmaking with Sarah Delahoy
Sarah, Printmaker and experienced tutor, will guide you through the process of creating a Collagraph, an intaglio print made from a collaged piece of mount board. You will use a range of materials, textured papers and mark making tools to create a treescape, which will then be inked and printed on paper using an etching press.

Felting with MadeByMoDecor
Join Mo for a 3d needle felting workshop. Mo will guide you through the whole process of how to construct a beautiful owl. The owl you make will be approximately 6″ tall and set on a beautiful piece of hardwood. It will make a perfect ornament to enjoy.
