Baby showers have crossed the Atlantic and are now all the rage in the UK. What a fantastic way to get family and friends together to celebrate your imminent new arrival! Afternoons tend to be the most popular time of day, and afternoon tea is ideally suited for such an occasion.
Our Garden Room is ideal for such an event, and you can go all out with decorations to make it extra special.
You may want to theme your event, or even add an activity. You could choose to create a special keepsake for the baby’s nursery (such as cute pompom/fabric bunting or hand-painted wooden pennants). Or, get really creative and design a set of vests for when the baby arrives! We can co-ordinate this with Rachel Shilston of Inspiring Creativity who will provide all the materials necessary and facilitate it for you. (Typical charge is £15 per person based on a minimum of 8 people.)
Our afternoon tea includes finger sandwiches, scones and a selection of cakes and desserts. The cost is £16 per person, but for groups of 10 or more we offer a special rate of £12.50 per person. Our Garden Room is available for private hire for groups of 16 or more at no additional charge.
