Date Days and Nights in the Forest of Dean #datesdonedifferently
Love. It can all seem a little forced in the run up to February 14th. A mush of momentous gestures and rushed romance.
If you have never stepped foot in the Forest of Dean, then we think you may just love what you discover.
This year, romance and love may peak on the Thursday 14th February but here at Tudor Farmhouse (not far from the magical Puzzlewood, a walk around the forest is the perfect alternative date) we think spending time, leaving busy schedules behind and enjoying some well-deserved restorative time together, as a regular occurrence, is by far the most momentous gesture.
Explore the forest, try something new and get away from it all for an afternoon, evening or spend the night.
Cycling – whether you bring your prize mountain bike to hit some serious trails, or are just looking to hire something a little more steady for an amble along the river bank the Forest of Dean is a mecca or a cycling day out.
Birds of Prey – there is something so very special about watching these majestic birds. The International Centre for Birds of Prey is a brilliant afternoon out.
With all the fresh air and activity, returning to Tudor Farmhouse is the perfect end to a perfect date.
Settling in for the evening in our cosy, atmospheric restaurant where divine dishes await.
It’s wise to take advantage of our Date Night offer with two courses from our 20 mile menu, our chosen “date night” cocktail and a carafe of wine for only £35 per person.
*Quote “Date Night” when booking.
